What is it about a stand-out red power lip that adds a pound of oomph to an otherwise regular outfit? A crimson pout remains one of the most versatile makeup looks – it’s alluring, seductive, outspoken, rebellious, bold, loud and ultra, ultra chic. Gwyneth Paltrow once said: “Beauty, to me, is about being comfortable in your own skin. That, or a kickass red lipstick.” And we couldn’t agree more.
With so many options in the market today, Matt or glossy, deep or bright, it can often get a bit overwhelming to choose the right red. A rich, blue-toned red, the classic Pirate is a universally flattering shade, and looks exceptionally amazing on olive skin tones.
